Kinaye Motorsports was founded in 2015 by a group of electric vehicle enthusiasts – having broad experience in business, engineering, and management. Our mission is to bring new and exciting high-performance ebike kits and components to the market place, and to share our knowledge and passion for all electric vehicle technology. Meet Our Team

Barent Hoffman President

Known as "Teslanv" on Endless-sphere, Barent's expertise is in manufacturing, project management and business. Barent built his first ebike in 2013, and hasn't stopped since. His fleet now includes ebikes for his family of 5, and he eagerly experiments on his own bikes as test subjects for the products on the Kinaye Website. Barent enjoys building high-performance ebikes almost as much as riding them.

Joe Montero CFO

Focused on business management, finance, marketing and company growth with a strong business and sales background working with large corporations, government and business to business accounts. Joe's favorite ebike is a fat tire cargo bike.

Eric Korndorffer Master Wheel Builder

Quality Control Engineer for NASA Space Shuttle, and for Boeing. Passionate about building the perfect wheels for over 30 years, and knows just about everything having to do with rims, spokes, and twisting nipples.

Paul Krupski Director of Mechanical Engineering

BS in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga-U, Paul leads up the analyses and simulations when not busy contributing to the Issaquah HS Robotics Team. Paul's other hidden talent is his marketing prowess.

Jim Baskin Managing Consultant

Engineering Manager and Consultant at Microsoft for many years with extensive background in delivering products from cradle to grave. Jim is extremely well versed in product marketing and fund raising. Jim's favorite ebike is his Mongoose Dolomite/Hitch Fat Bike conversion.

Alan Hord Engineering Consultant

"Kingfish" on Endless-Sphere, Alan brings 35+ years of electromechnical engineering design and manufacturing experience. In addition, Alan's other talent is in software design and development, and he is strongly passionate about EV solutions to market. Alan's favorite ebike is the custom 2WD DH ebike he built in 2011.
